The moment a patient accepts is the best moment to secure the booking. Turn this on and the accepted plan asks for a deposit, with a Pay deposit button. If you connected iyzico or İşbank in Settings → Payments, the patient pays online by card. Otherwise the button opens your own payment page: Stripe, PayPal, a bank page, whatever you already use. Either way, the money goes straight to you.
Set it up
- Go to Treatment Setup → Treatment Plan Settings, General tab, and find Deposit after acceptance.
- Switch on Offer a deposit.
- Choose the deposit type:
- % of the plan — enter the percentage; the patient sees that share of their plan total.
- Fixed amount — enter an amount for each currency. It is never more than the plan total.
- Paste your payment link (https) for each currency and click Save. With online payments connected, the card says so, and these links are only a fallback for currencies without a provider.
What the patient sees
After they accept, their plan page shows "Secure your treatment date" with the amount and a Pay deposit button (in the patient's language). With online payments, the button opens the secure payment page, and the plan shows "Deposit received — thank you!" once paid. With payment links, the button appears only when the plan's currency has a link and, for a fixed deposit, an amount.
Good to know
- Paying is optional: accepting the plan never depends on it.
- Online payments: DentClosers sees the payment, shows Deposit paid on the case and notifies your team. See Take the deposit online (iyzico / İşbank).
- Payment links: DentClosers shows the amount and opens your link, but doesn't see whether the patient paid. Check deposits in your payment provider, and make sure your payment page asks for the right amount.
