In the clinic, the treatment conversation is clinical — the money conversation belongs to sales and reception. The platform enforces that.
Dentists never see prices
By default a dentist's view of any case shows treatments, teeth and visits — no totals, no per-item prices, no currency. This is enforced on the server, not hidden in the screen. If your clinic wants a pricing dentist, grant Add pricing to case in Settings → Team → Permissions; that restores both the ability and the visibility together.
The consultation copy
After examining the patient, the dentist opens the case and creates a consultation plan — a working copy cloned from the sold plan, always unpriced. It can never be sent to a patient and never appears on the patient's plan page. It exists for two readers: the translator (who compares it against the sold plan to guide the upsell) and the printed document below. When it differs from the sold plan, the deal owner is prompted to review the visit values — quoted numbers are never rewritten silently.
The printed clinic document
Reception prints the clinic copy: your clinic's legal header, the patient and doctors, the treatments per visit — and a deliberately empty final-amount line. After the visit, the final amount is written by hand, the patient signs, and the clinic stamps. Each print link works exactly once and expires in two minutes; a PDF version is available from the same button.
Who records the money
The translator closes verbally. Reception records the payment against the visit. Anything above the planned value is automatically credited as an upsell.
